If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all.
No one's going to like everything or everyone the world has to offer, that's just the way life is. If you dislike something, there's no need to be offensive about it. Any overtly negative comments will be removed. Constructive criticism is fine. "You suck, lol" is not constructive. If this behaviour persists, users will be banned.
Harassment will not be tolerated.
This doesn't just apply to Redeemer Girls/Boys. Harassment of any user will result in banning.
Discrimination.
It's not big, it's not clever, and it's definitely not wanted here. Racism, sexism, homophobia, etc. in posts will result in them being deleted. Repeat offenders will be banned.
No spam.
If you think something's cool and you want to share, that's great! Post a link and maybe people will check it out. You don't need to post it multiple times. You don't need to bump the thread constantly to make sure no one misses it. Users will be warned and subsequently banned if this behaviour continues. Posting scam links (pyramid schemes, referral spam, competitions to grab a free iGoat, etc) will result in immediate bans being handed out.
Make a point.
Don't post meaningless threads/comments. You don't need to add a reply of "lol" to anything that gives you a slight smile. Also, silly threads such as "last poster wins" and the like will be deleted. Not every thread has to include intense and serious discourse, they should just at least be worth reading.
Keep it (sorta) clean.
We're not asking you to only post pictures of fuzzy kitties (though they're always welcome), but at the same time we don't want threads full of porn. If you're linking to any risqué content, make sure to label it as such (an NSFW note is fine). Admins reserve the right to remove any inappropriate content/links at their discretion.
Put it where it belongs.
Don't start a music thread in the Girls/Boys forum and vice versa. If the admins think something's in the wrong place, we will move it. If you're unsure, just pop it in The Winchester.
Finally: Don't be a dick.
This is really an all-encompassing rule. This place is meant to be fun, so have fun with it. This is a community and we want to focus on bringing people together, not pulling them apart. Everyone likes a laugh and a joke, just be aware that there's boundaries and lines you shouldn't cross. We can't predict every problem that might arise and so we reserve the right to deal with such things as we see fit. You are welcome to contact us about any decision we make, though the admins' word is final.
